Village Square Apartments and Townhomes

My first impression was great , the leasing staff was out of the office so the Asst. Manager took me out on a tour of a unit and the property, she was very pleasant, very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions.
This is honestly the first place I move too that I didn’t have to report more than 1 issues. I had one issue and the ticket was addressed within 48 hours. I have called numerous times with addition questions and the staff has always been pleasant. I would definitely recommend… folks to apply if you are looking for a nice home .

We lived there 2 years ago and EVERY month we lived there, us, as well as multiple tenants, would pay our bill but they claimed they never received it and would send us all to court, like a community meeting at the court house, to show our receipts to prove our rent was paid and got dismissed every time. Now 2 years later and after moving out I'm receiving calls saying village square turned us over to collection agency's and we owe thousands of dollars. We have to resend every receipt to prove… it was paid. The hassle and time missed from work every month to go to the courthouse to prove we paid was very frustrating and this on top of it. The management needs to learn how to run a business and a better filing system apparently. Please save yourself and do not get involved with this company. I went today to tour the property and was very disappointed in the community as a whole. It seems the leasing office was beautifully renovated; while the units were not. Their version of a renovated unit is a black and silver appliance (not stainless), vinyl sticker flooring, and that's about it. The living room is itty bitty, and the bathrooms are not updated.

However, what sold me to look elsewhere as I have a small child, was their version of a playground. It is right on the corner of a very… busy road, feet from it... there is no fence, nothing - it seemed very unsafe. It is also incredibly worn down. Their management is horrendous, highly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere; you'll be glad you did.
