Lies!! All Lies!! Ad place!!

Poor management. Marijuana, break-ins, destructive teenagers hanging everywhere, rodents, roaches, gunfire, nasty Tamika at rental office.

Careless Service

This property is under kept and poorly managed. There is a pest problem. Roaches and mice are all over the property and in the units. The maintenance staff is limited and unskilled. The turn around for service has taken weeks. For example, I made a call to have my tub re-caulked and my bathroom light to be fixed. And I’m coming up on my third week in a dark bathroom with a moldy tub. There have been no apologies made when I reached out for help from the rental office. I was told that they are… having to prioritize the numerous calls for ceiling leakage over my call. My thoughts are that if it’s taken 3 weeks to fix my bathroom light and caulk my tub there must be a lot of tenants with leaky ceilings. Which is also terrible! If I’m “lucky “ my ceiling will begin to leak as well and I will jump the line.

Safety is also a big issue here. It is very dark where my building is. And I have raised concerns about this to the rental office. My boyfriend works late hours and often gets in early morning. One morning he was assaulted at gunpoint for refusing to allow our car to be taken. The cameras on the building are all out of service and we could only report the incident. You will also hear gunshots every so often.

Forest Lake Apartments

I moved to this complex in 2004 and I would have rated it 5 stars then, however, it is still a nice place to live but I have endured some unpleasant neighbors who will not for the sake of me cleanup after they spill or drop things in the building or parking lot. The cleaning crew is excellent and cleans the buildings twice a day. I would still recommend friends because it was and still is one of the reasonable apartment homes in the area.
