Summerlyn Apartments

I have been here for 1 yr and I enjoyed my time there.
No issues, or problems. Staff was nice and pleasant when I needed to interact with them. Almost no problems, and if I did it was resolved in 24hrs. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would do it again. Summerly was easy to navigate back and forward to work, shopping and quiet for the most part. Building was cleaned weekly, trash was removed from property weekly and the problems I did have was not apartment related but people related. Even… then they were kind, receptive and responsive. You can't change who or how your neighbors conduct their self. That is not the responsibility of the rental office or staff it's how you were raised. With that said I give Summerly Apartments a 5 Star. However some residences need to look in the mirror and reflect on how they are projecting their self before bashing others or Management. I am from New Jersey and relocating to Maryland. Looking for apartments. Called this property and took appointment. They took my email and I double checked for any errors in spelling my names. Then I went exactly at 2 pm to the leasing office. They didn't let me in but said I should call from outside. I did and the woman (I see her from outside) replied that I have not verified my ID when she sent the email. To be honest, I never received any email from them. I even offred to show my ID there.… The woman didn't listen and said that they can show the property.
I went there driving 16 miles!!!

1.From the door the under is open that mouse,roaches and bugs can comfortably crawl in .2 the fridge,dishwasher,washing machine and the dryer are all obsolete as in pieces of garbage. In between the dishwasher and the cupboards they have this pile of dirty from mouse poop,roaches and food over the years.3the bathroom cabinets are the worst of all they all soaked and falling off both inside out instead of them to remove they cut carpet to patch them and its still falling off still . 4 the toilet… mirror is so old that the iron has rust and the cabinets is peeling off them the mirror itself some parts has warned and still they left it there .5 the blinds are all falling off without being touched. 6 the door leading to the balcony the edges are super black dirty 7. I recently moved into Summerlyn Apartments. Since then I have had a couple unforeseen maintenance issues. Not only were they handled timely, but also the maintenance person, Carlos, provided outstanding service. He quickly identified the problems & resolved them in a thorough, professional manner.
