Bugs

I have a serious bug phobia, and prior to moving into the apartment, I inquired about any issues with bugs mainly roaches. I was informed that as a precaution, monthly pest control was conducted which was fine by me. However, once the Spring season had arrived so did the crickets; they have literally invaded my apartment. I've seen them in the bathroom, crawling on the bedroom curtains, living room walls, and kitchen floor. When I leave the apartment, they're outside my front door, and in the… hallway. I'm afraid to use the laundry room as I have seen them coming from underneath the washers. What really scares me is I may wake up one morning with a cricket sitting on my headboard or worst camping out on a bed pillow. Come 2021, I will be relocating to a non-cricket apartment.

Too small & squeaky floors

The property is quiet, but the one-bedroom is very small with one wall closet that barely holds my wardrobe. Residing in a lower unit has its advantages during the Summer months less AC usage; however, during the winter months, I would suggest investing in a space heater and heavy drape curtains as the apartment is quite chilly during the winter months. The HVAC unit is located off the living room and it is noisy to the point where you are constantly turning up the volume on the television. The… floors above me are horrible to the point where it sounds like my neighbors are in my apartment with me walking around in the next room. I can literally hear my upstairs neighbor turning over in their bed that is how bad the floor squeaks. Lastly, the pipes are noisey as well.
