Campus West Apartments

The Good: Located literally right outside Grand Valley, Campus west is at a short drive from fast food, liquor stores, and goodwill (college students will appreciate this). The staff are nice and take care of issues quickly. The security officers are super cool and understanding. The rent is relatively cheap and utilities run around $50-$70/mo in the summer, a little more in the winter.
The place is kept clean and decent looking. The people living here are also decent looking and don't cause… much trouble, except for the casual April fool's prank gone wrong.
The Game room and weight room are open 24/7 with the use of a card. The game room comes with a ping pong table, pool table, a TV, and nice couches. The weight room comes with enough machines and weights for you to become the next Arnold Schwarzenegger. That is, if you try hard enough.
Also there is a bus stop for students going to either GV campus (allendale or GR) free of charge.

The "bad": Most tenants are college students, which makes the parking lot very crowded on fridays and saturdays. Guest parking is almost always full on those days so plan on getting a guest pass from the office if needed. If security catches you without a pass (which they WILL), your car will get booted at the expense of $40.
The walls are kind of thin and might lack a little insulation.
