Nice apartments, convenient spot, great landlords

Walnut Knoll is exactly what my wife and I were looking for as she attended the optometry program at Ferris. It's a short walk to campus and has easy access to most of town, it is generally very quiet, and the apartments have modern appliances and are well laid-out.

The landlords are very accommodating and easy to work with. When issues came up they were typically addressed that day or very quickly afterwards. If we had to go back and do it again, I would absolutely rent here again.

Worst place to live

Worst worst place to live. Both husband and wife are very cunning. They will never give you your security deposit back l. They will also charge you extra money $25 to $50 for water every month per kid.
Stay far far away from this place if you can otherwise you will regret it later. They maintenance services is really bad they take forgery to fix things.

Perfect Apartments

I lived in Walnut Knoll Apartments for three years while I was in graduate school. The apartments were clean, well kept, spacious, and quiet. The owners and management are very kind and attentive when you contact them. I highly recommended living at Walnut Knoll if in the Big Rapids area!

"Home Away from Home"

It has truly been a pleasure living here for 3 years while attending MCO, and sad I now must leave. From the day I met Olya and Bob, I knew this was the place for me. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and take extreme pride in their apartments. Any issues are dealt with swiftly and respectfully. Your kindness and sincerity have truly made a difference in my life. Walnut Knoll was not only close to school for me, but a short distance to restaurants, shopping, and groceries. I have… always felt safe and comfortable and have loved my time here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a clean, quiet and accommodating atmosphere. Thank you for 3 great years!!!!!!!

Great & Affordable Apartment

I’ve lived in Big Rapids for nearly 5 years (for graduate school), and in Walnut Knoll apartments for my final year and it has genuinely been an amazing experience. I can tell you from my wisdom that it can be a nightmare trying to find an affordable apartment that also isn’t too noisy. My neighbors were very respectful, and the owners even more so. The owners knew me on a first-name basis, and were incredibly flexible for the move-in process. To my knowledge, all the bathrooms have been… remodeled which is a huge plus too. Again, I cannot stress how amazing it is to have heat and internet bundled in your monthly rent as well. To anyone considering an apartment near the school and would like a spacious and comfortable place to live with good neighbors, Walnut Knoll should be on the top of your list!
