It's quiet, it's cozy, its safe. The apartments are very spacious. If ever there is an issue (both big and small) they are addressed fast and efficiately. Water is hot and has great pressure but not city water, though they do use a water softener to help. Heat and gas and trash all included. And fur family members are allowed too. It really is a nice, friendly and clean place to happily call home.

Well Maintained and Trustworthy Management
I stayed at Manitou Lake Apts. for one year. I chose the complex because of its affordability, location, and the management. It is family owned. The manager, Bryan, is honest, friendly, and helpful. The maintenance crew live on site and are very quick to respond. Many residents are long-time residents and tend to be older, although there are some college-age residents as well. I felt very safe and found the complex to be mostly quiet. It's close to the Lake Orion downtown area, hiking trails,... and other activities. The rent includes heat and water, which is great, and the electricity bill was very inexpensive (less than $30 for most months of the year, for one bedroom apartment). Note: water is hard water. I enjoyed my stay at Manitou Lake Apts.
