Garbage

Staff is rude. Do not expect a call back. Maintenance is non existent. They only want your rent check. Your home will never feel like a home. Do not trust the front office to do the right thing

Bad news

The duplexes are not properly maintained and I had health issues due to the filthy air vents and a possible gas leak. I reported the issues and even offered to pay for the vent cleaning but was told that wasn’t allowed. My front window was broken (so it couldn’t be opened) and was never fixed despite numerous requests.

The final insult was that they kept part of my deposit because of a stain on the rug. I sent my copy of the original walk through that showed multiple carpet stains. I did a lot… of work on this apartment to make it livable and this was truly the final insult.

The Rental Office Staff is very rude

The Tammany of the ponds rental office staff is very rude addressing the renters. They are inexperienced and unprofessional.

Too Noisy

Lived here for 4 years. Lived on the first floor. Too noisy. We can here everything our upstairs neighbors do.

Tammany on the Ponds

I love this apartment! I'm on the third floor, which (while not great for carrying groceries in), means there are cathedral ceilings that make the living space feel wide open. The neighborhood is quiet and the grounds are pretty, and well maintained. Management and staff are really friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently- I've only had a couple minor issues, and they were fixed same day or next day. Lots of units (mine included) have washer & dryer in unit, which is… AWESOME! Within a 5 minute drive there are 4 grocery stores, the Lansing Mall, other shops, and lots of restaurants (everything from fast food to fancy Italian and delicious Mediterranean). Cats allowed, and dogs in certain buildings.
