It Is What You Make Of It Here.
Good place to rent. I have lived here for almost 3 years. My repairs are addressed promptly. Not always attentively though. Some maintenance guys are more professional and skilled than others. Some maintenance guys like to come into your apartment when you are gone. The apartments are spacious.
Otherwise, everything is good in my apartment. I'm pleased with the service I receive from Sherry, Pam, Amber, and every Leasing Agent in the Office. It's a genuinely concerned, responsive team. ...
One peeve: The stairways and breezeways could be maintained more often. When I first moved in under a different manager, it was maintained 3-4 times per week. Now there is a new manager who is only concerned about receipts and the bottom line. Overall, I am pleased. You can not control your neighbors, so if you are moving here looking for experiences and true community, this is not the place. People are productive, independent, and have their own lives and interest. Recommend indeed.

Regarding maintenance, the only time maintenance should enter your home is during an emergency or a scheduled inspection/response to a request,... which we make sure to notify our residents. However, let us know if you encounter any issues that need our attention. Great place to live
Excellent place to live. Office staff are very nice and helpful when you need help. Maintenance is always on top of what you need done if you need them. We have no problems with anything. We've been here almost 7 years now and had a couple door slammers but that gets nipped in the bud right away. I'd refer people to live here.

Terrible community
This place is a joke. Rent is way to expensive for the little commodities Glen Oaks offers. You can’t have peace & quiet because they don’t enforce the “no loud music” policy. Security is nothing more than a rent a cop that can’t “interfere” with any issues you have on grounds, you’re better off calling the police. I’ve had at LEAST 3 people in the year in a half that I’ve lived here “accidentally” walk into my apartment thinking they’ve found the actual apartment they’re looking for. I’ve had... numerous strangers knock on my door in the early morning hours looking for a certain apartment & have been scared more often than not. People are constantly speeding through our 16 mph parking lots. If you can afford to NOT live here I’d suggest you find elsewhere to live.
My children have been exposed to things that a child should never be exposed to & I’ve also called the police at least 15 times in the year and a half we’ve been here. I wouldn’t even recommend renting an apartment for a dog to live in.
