Save your money!
My husband and I lived here for 6 months and it was horrible. Be warned, if you want to move out before your lease is up you will be forced to pay the rest of your leases rent. All 4 other apartments I have lived at have you pay a fee not the remaining rent. That is insane. We are fortunate enough to be able to pay that, but imagine being in a bad situation and being stuck because you dont have thousands of dollars to get out of your lease. I think this is a very scummy thing to do. Walls are... very very thin! I can hear my neighbors talking normally, not even being loud. It’s like we had roommates. Hallway always smelled disgusting like weed and other substances. As said in another review, Billy lied about construction. They said they would be done by March, HOWEVER he failed to say they would be building a whole new building right next door. Construction workers are loud from 6am-5pm. Using a jackhammer at 7am right outside tenant windows. If you like to sleep in the morning dont live here. There is hardly any areas to walk your dog and the grass they do have is always muddy and filled with dog poop. They expect you to pick up after your dog but fail to have any dog waste stations. They also say they constantly monitor cameras to make sure you pick up after your dog but then when there was concern about packages being stolen they said they can only look at camera footage if there is a police report. So that makes zero sense. Which is it? Management is very condescending and rude through emails and when they dont feel like emailing back, they wont. Last but certainly not least. Expect to be broke from how much electricity costs!!! DTE bills are around $300 for one month of usage! And that is from hardly ever using the ac unit because it sucks. I can not fathom how it can be that much when my husband and I purposely conserved energy. And when we asked management about it, they said to wear a sweater if youre cold. We have to be paying for something else, possibly the construction crew’s electricity because it makes zero sense. I can only imagine what the summer bill would be. Please please please save your money and time and go somewhere else. And if I get a response to this review that I never lived here, that is totally false. I lived in building 833 right after it was opened in October 2025.
