Look for another place

Management is difficult to reach, especially if a repair is needed or there is a problem. Get everything in writing as going back on their word is the first play if there is no proof of an agreement. Ask for credentials of any repair person as not all hires know what they are doing and then your stuck cleaning up the mess yourself.

URBANE APT NOT ALL ITS CRACKED UP TO BE

Although your initial visit to an urbane apartment is enticing I urge you to take a wide eyed look around. The building is described as having a face lift and that's what it is. They take old buildings lay down laminate flooring and paint them bright colors. However look closely at things like the plumbing, state of the floors, leaky walls, broken utlities, ect. These are the things that really matter in an apartment but seem to go ignored at urbane be weary of these. The maintenance team is… rather slow so when you find something wrong it can take weeks for them to tell you that they are unable to replace it.
