    Building 10 Senior Living

    Shelby Park Manor has cute apartments and a great location right across from a beautiful park. I was excited to move into Building 10, the non-smoking building, after waiting for an opening.Unfortunately, working from home made me realize it wasn't the best fit for me. There is very little sound insulation between floors, so noise from upstairs neighbors, including walking, children running, and early morning activity, was often disruptive. I was frequently awakened as early as 5 a.m. and found… it difficult to work and rest comfortably.The community manager was very understanding and worked with me to end my lease so I could find a quieter place that better suited my work-from-home needs. Overall, it's a nice community, but remote workers or those sensitive to noise may want to keep this in mind.
