Definitely not all bad. They do delete negative reviews. So I expect this to dissappear. The old school scroll to find a tenant is extremely outdated. The most infuriating, not hot water, ever; it's been 3 years dealing with maybe luke warm to freezing cold showers! They refuse to acknowledge the issue with the broiler. The only advice, "don't use hot water during peak times"..seriously, not a solution. It doesn't AND shouldn't matter. It is never hot! Corporate, attorney general and city... inspector are the next course of action since they refuse to professionally acknowledge the problem.

I have lived at Monument Ridge for 2 years.

There are some pros and cons, but the cons definitely outweigh the pros.

Pros: Great location, 15 minutes from the airport.
Included underground parking.
Included trash/water

Cons: Parking is assigned, so make sure you get a decent spot before you sign a lease. My neighbor got put next to a cement wall and it is nearly impossible for her to get her car into the garage.

The new maintenance guy they hired is a joke. The guy walks around without... shoes most of the time. Pretty sure him and his kids are on drugs.

Benjamin (the property manager) was extremely friendly during the showing/lease signing. Once you're locked in he could care less about your problems.

The soundproofing is pretty bad. I understand, It's an apartment complex but the construction was done very poorly. I was on the 3rd floor facing Highway 52. The noise from the highway didn't bother me, but definitely noticeable. Try to get an apartment facing Broderick Blvd. I had a mold problem in my apartment. After 4 calls I finally was able to resolve the issue.

The people below me chain-smoked cigarettes all night, so I wasn't able to sleep with my windows open.

Overall I wouldn't recommend Monument Ridge Estates to anybody. Read More

I have lived here for 4ish? Years -- top floor, 1 bedroom

Pros
Quite-- we never hear our neighbors
Safe -- ups will leave packages outside your apartment door and no one touches them
Big bathrooms and walk in closet
Washer / dryer in unit
Free internet/ cable
Big storage units for only $25 a month
Newer building
Good walking and biking trails across the street
Easy access to highway


Cons
The free internet is really slow at the busy traffic times of day
People do not return the common use... carts
The management isn't always in the office during their scheduled hours
The underground parking is pretty tight and they still allow huge trucks in there which can make it difficult to get out
The hot tub broke and instead of fixing it, they paved it in

I would live here again, we haven't moved yet because we can never find other apartments as good (and with washer/dryer in unit) for the money. Read More
