Cherry Square is located in the heart of the downtown entertainment district in Mankato. This one bedroom, one bath apartment has been fully remodeled. Complete with new vinyl flooring, kitchen cabinets, fixtures, and granite countertops, new… bathroom vanities, shower surrounds and fixtures, along with new heaters, lighting and ceiling fans in all units. Security building with elevator access and assigned parking.

Tenants pay electric (including heat). Water/sewer/garbage, internet and basic cable included in rent. One pet (cat or small dog under 20 pounds) considered with additional deposit and monthly pet fee. 12 month lease preferred, but would consider 6 or 9 month option. Background and credit check, and rental references required, application fee per adult tenant.

    Complete Shame!

    My brother just moved into a unit here and I am appalled at the condition! He had to move out of his old place because the building was closing. Due to his work schedule and commute being the bus line, his options were limited. The building itself is an old motel that was converted to apartments. His unit was so filthy dirty upon move it that he couldn't even unpack anything for the kitchen because the cabinets were so nasty. The trim around the door was falling off, the screen for the window… isn't secure, the chain for the front door is barely attached, It appears it was recently painted and there is paint drips all over the flooring, and the previous tenant couldn't disconnect their cable so they just cut the cable so my brother can't even get cable without paying for repairs. And that is just a few of the issues! How is this even legal to rent to someone!!!! This is literally one step away from living on the street! I HAVE to find him some place else to live.
