St. Anne's Senior Housing

This building is designed for older adults. I appreciate the location, since
I don't have a car. I can walk one block to a bus line going in all four
directions of North Mpls.
There is easy access to stores, shopping, churches and to downtown.
I can even get on the MTC in front of the building and travel to the
Mall of America.

There are very few social services in the building; no exercise room;
no kitchen facilities on the first floor, no gardens, but the building
does permit smoking... outside and in front of the building. I don't
smoke & I don't appreciate smelling the odor of smoke outside
the building. I guess the residents don't mind, but I would never
sit on the patio outside the building.

I lot of resident are smokers and drinkers and I don't appreciate
this. There is underground parking and two elevators that are
accessed on each level. There is not enough security in the building
including the garage. My bike was damaged by vandals & never
discovered.

There are some Sec #8 tenants, but I have not been able to get
Sec #8 in the past 4 years that I have lived here, nor have I been
able to transfer from my small efficiency apartment to a one bedroom.

I would love to move out of the building to a similar location that
offer's Sec #8 and at least a one bedroom apartment and a building
with more amenities and better security. I am not a happy camper.
