Kassenborg Apartments

I lived in this complex for a few years. I really enjoyed my time there, especially having underground parking and central air. Most rental units in the metro have wall AC and detached parking so it's a treat to find a building that offers both. The building is part of the Kassenborg Properties and close to retail and restaurants (Rustica, Moxie Java, Riverzen, and Joni's Salon). Across the street from Woodlawn Park (a favorite frisbee golf destination).

Despite its beautiful view and excellent… location, I had to knock it down to four stars as the utilities were quite expensive. The renter pays for everything (water, heat, electric, garbage, sanitary, recycling, etc.). It was typically well over $100 a month, and much more than that in the winter. My bedroom window was very drafty. I hung window film to try to cut the draft and put up thermal curtains but it was still very cold. Located in the middle of Fargo/Moorhead along the Red River allows for a large range of activities/restaurants within walking distance. Jogging/biking trails a few steps out the door as well as a disc golf course.Underground parking is included in the rent and especially nice during winter. Solid brick construction means you will almost never hear your neighbors on the same floor. I have never had any problems with management in 3 years here.
