Unresponsive management
I rented a four-bedroom apartment, and two of the tenants who were scheduled to move in at the same time were granted room changes because the apartment was dirty. However, my roommate and I were not given that same option.
The front door was broken for months during the winter, which left all of the first floor apartments freezing cold. The parking lots and walking paths were also difficult to use because they were rarely plowed.
Management was unresponsive to the door security issue. During... COVID, many tenants had to move back home, but they were still required to pay rent for the remainder of their contracts and were not given the option to pay a fee to end their leases early, despite the extenuating circumstances.
