Good landlords. Outdated building

Kind landlords. Admittedly the apartments aren’t anything special but it’s a decent enough place to live. The building is outdated but if you don’t mind that it’s a nice place. Lots of carpet. Must pay rent with a check. Carpets are required to be cleaned after each tenant. Hallways smell a bit and there’s not central AC, just a window type unit in the living room. Laundry is shared among units and there’s often a wait. Probably won’t be the nicest place you’ll ever live but they do have garages... and the landlords are kind and responsive if there are maintenance requests
