Edgewater Apartments

Been dealing with this since lease signing in May. I asked for a fogging when I noticed it. May 1 I signed my lease but move in was not until May 29th as I had an overlap with apartments. As I made trips to the new place to hang pictures etc I noticed the flies, that got worse and worse and worse as the Summer temps raised. Property Manager Susie and Maintenance Mike did minimal, failing to return calls or even be present on site during posted office hours. As my official move in date neared I... hired Orkin myself. Not cheap! I asked VP of Paramark, Andy to reimburse my expense...nope! Fed up in July I got City Inspectors involved. Two more pest control companies hired by Paramark Orkin, Paffys, Plunkets all said "check your drains! Plumbing issues, find the source" Finally they agreed to hire plumber to put cameras down all the plumbing to find source. Strangly my security cameras in my apartment shows they ONLY went to the kitchen. Not the access panel to bathroom, not any main building plumbing areas, just straight to my kitchen and not with a camera, but a snake. Almost like they knew exactly where the issue may be. Theses flues carry disease and illness, they are called "filth flies" "coffin flies" because they feed on dead animals. I had to live wirh them for four months! Ended up in the hospital twice! I finally left got a second home, moved my pets and myself to be safe. Stay away from these people! They own a lot of apartment properties. Do your homework. Avoid any property they own! Read More

I have only lived at the apartments for a couple of months. The staff here is incredible. Rachel Moen is always available and willing to help. I have spoken with her on a few occasions and she is diligent in getting back to me or responding to my messages. Rachel is doing a fantastic job here. Things are taken care of very timely and the complex surroundings look incredible. I highly recommend anyone interested in living here to apply! The maintenance is always done quickly and accurately!
