Millennium at Creve Coeur

Move in day was horrible. The apartment was not in move-in condition. They had to send back cleaners because it was disgusting. Then, the washer didn’t work. Three months later, several unanswered emails, no communication from the Property manager, and seven work orders, it finally works. I’ve asked numerous times to talk to someone about the experience here, but not one person responds.

The Good: Great location, right at Olive Blvd and I-270, for easy access to anywhere in West County. Creve Coeur has good restaurant and shopping options. Units are clean, property pretty well maintained. Bonus: having washer/dryer in-unit is great! No more schlepping to a laundry room or laundrymat!

The Bad: the property has been changing owners every couple of years now for 4-5 years, and the ease of payment is going down even as rents are going up. If you pay online from their website by… e-check, there's a pay-by-check surcharge. If you pay by credit/debit card, there's a card-processing fee. Basically, if you don't physically go to the office and drop a check or money order, you're paying extra.

The Ugly: about two owners back, they decided to go with hardwood floors instead of carpeted, likely for cost-savings reasons. Coupled with thin walls and lack of soundproofing, you are going to hear every footstep your upstairs neighbor takes. If they have pets (esp. dogs,) when your neighbors leave for work and their dogs get separation anxiety, you will hear every whine, bark, yip, yowl and howl they make until Mommy/Daddy comes home. If they have kids (esp. active toddlers), you will hear them running/sprinting back-and-forth all hours of the day and night, hear them jumping off furniture to land like a paratrooper on the floor such that it sounds like someone dropping bowling balls on the floor.

If you work a 2nd or 3rd shift and are sleeping during the daytime, then good luck: noisy neighbors and their pets makes this a serious challenge. I hope you like sleeping/trying to sleep with ear plugs (I do, and they don't always work). Read More

This community doesn't care about falling trees.(two huge trees fall together. If the tree next to it falls again, it is likely to affect the house. but they never care about it, and leave them more than 1 year.)

The fallen trees on the southeast side ruined the feng shui of the community. People living in this community will have their health and wealth affected.

That's why this community is going downhill. And their managers keep changing and cannot be stable.

Not enough repair workers. … Often, it is not possible to respond to the requirements of the residents in time. If something is broken, it takes a long time for someone to repair it.

When you decide to rent an apartment from them, I want to make it easy for you to make an informed decision.
One month ago, I decided to rent an apartment from them, and I called them ten times to ask about the floor. I also left messages through this website and emailed them. Due to backache, I cannot live at the top. There was no response. Since they have websites and ads on apartment.com and Zillow, I trusted them. As a result, I paid the deposit in hopes that they would see my application… and get in touch with me. I sent them an email and called them again and left a voice message. No response again! I went to the office, but nobody was there. The message was written on paper and placed in the office.
As a result of this awful responsibility, I decided to cancel my application! The next day, someone contacted me to complete the process, and I explained the situation to her and requested a refund of my deposit. My application was canceled, but my deposit has not yet been refunded! I have emailed again and have not received a response!! Read More
