Apple Creek Apartments

I found this apartment complex approximately 12 years ago, I rented a 1bd 1 ba back then in my early 30's. As a single female the open space, the structure, having a full size washer and dryer inside my unit along with it being a quiet community was unmatched. Since then I have moved back in my early 40's and I didn't want to anywhere else. The neighbors, the neighborhood, the maintenance, the landscaping, the atmosphere and the area is so peaceful and quiet and very friendly. I can't imagine… any other place I'd rather call home. Moved in sight unseen halfway across the country for my first apartment, and the apartment was as advertised. Any problems I had in my time there were nothing that couldn't be solved with a quick phone call and a reasonable amount of time.
My only complaint would be that you can't pay rent/water online w/o a fee, but dropping off a check isn't any deal breaker.
Overall, great no-nonsense place to live.

We've lived here for 4 years now and we even moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom at the same complex. Sandee the manager is amazing! She really cares about her residents (and their pets.) Our dogs favorite part fo the day is going to the office to see Sandee and get treats.

Maintenance is one of the most important things for an apartment and let me tell you. Apple Creek has some of the most responsive maintenance I've ever lived with. At 8:45am we mentioned our furnace not kicking… on, by 9:00 they were here to fix it. Our emergencies have always been
handled impressively quick, even after hours, and regular requests are usually handled within a day.
The neighbors are great, like any complex there's a lot of resident turnover but there are also many people who have lived here for years. If you go for walks around you'll get to know some of your neighbors and that's really nice IMO.

Speaking of walks this complex is pretty walk-able. There's a small path leading down to the Indian Creek Trail which is only about a mile from Price Chopper on 103rd. You can walk to Lamar's, Second Best, Steatz, Thai House, Charlie D's, and Gomers EASILY, KC isn't necessarily the most walk-able city BUT this complex is better than a lot. Read More

When I originally leased an apartment from Apple Creek, I gave them a security deposit. Upon move out they forfeited my security deposit and charge me an exuberant amount of money for repairs to the apartment. They do not use your security deposit for any repairs upon move out they forfeit it Which means they keep it, and then charge you a ridiculous amount of money for minor repairs.
