    Constant Billing Issues & Empty Leasing Office

    I had the displeasure of renting from Forest Ridge for two years. While Martin City is a quiet corner of KC, it won't be for long. What we did like about the location and quality of the new-build itself was outweighed by our negative experiences with the owner and leasing staff.
    They advertise the pool as heated and open 2 months longer than typical complexes - both are lies. Don't get your hopes up until mid-June at least. Aside from being cold it's also not cleaned. Enjoy?
    We were constantly    … double-billed for our washer/dryer. When emails and calls were not answered, attempting to reach them in-office wasn't successful either, as they often leave 30-60 minutes before closing time. This was an ordeal for several months, and each month proved more difficult.
    We were also banned from balcony decor, though nothing in the lease prohibits this and half of tenants have decorated balconies. Rules for me, not thee as they say.
    Sincerely wish everyone at Forest Ridge the day they deserve!
