Plaza Apartment Center

I signed a lease here in January, but I figured I should wait until it got warm and I experienced both seasons before I wrote a review. To be more specific, I signed on at St. Regis.

The boiler shut off a couple weeks ago, and the AC has been on a bit, so I think I can now say that this apartment is fine. Is the building fantastic? No, not really. Is the building a bad place to live? Once again, no not really. This building is fine, I'm OK with living here. (If anything, maybe the boiler is a... bit too warm? Even in the dead of winter, you'll be wearing a T-shirt inside, trust me, heating in the winter is NOT a problem)

I do want to leave an extra, special message for future residents of St. Regis, though. Parking here is difficult. I think for the other buildings managed by Plaza Point Apartments, they offer a spot in some kind of garage, in which case I strongly advise you just accept it and factor that cost in as part of your rent. Parking here is hard, but if you live at St. Regis, you will get good at finding parking lol. Read More

The first day I moved in my car was broken into. I told the leasing office and they said to not park on ward parkway because they have a lot of cars broken into. This would’ve been good to know when looking at the apartment. The other option is side street parking but there are never spots open and you have to move your car in the morning. Paid parking is in a parking deck which seemed unsafe for $75. The apartment building has parking for $90 but no spots open. They claimed they tell people... this but didn’t know why I wasn’t told when looking at the place. I would not have moved here if I had known about the parking situation. I’ve talked to neighbors and their cars were vandalized as well. If I were you I’d look at other apartments. I also have seen a lot of bugs! Read More
