I would not recommend the Belleview
I would not recommend living at The Bellevue based on my experience. I lived here for 14 months, and unfortunately my experience was overwhelmingly negative.
During my time here, I dealt with black mold, frozen pipes that left me without running water for nearly two weeks, and ongoing issues that were not addressed in a timely manner. At one point, I was required to move units, and management attempted to assign me a random roommate without my agreement.
Another major frustration was the lack... of communication regarding maintenance work. On multiple occasions, I was woken up early by unexpected maintenance activities, including power washing patios around 7:45 a.m. and repair work in the unit above mine with little to no notice.
I have also been disappointed by the lack of amenities available despite paying for them. When I signed my lease, amenities such as a gym and outdoor community spaces were advertised as part of the property. Fourteen months later, many of these amenities are still unavailable.
The most frustrating part of living here has been the management team. Nearly every interaction left me feeling dismissed and unheard. As a younger resident, I often felt that management assumed they could take advantage of me or talk down to me. It consistently felt like no matter the situation, management would find a way to tell residents they were wrong while refusing to take accountability.
The only bright spot of the property is the maintenance and cleaning staff. The maintenance team is hardworking, professional, and genuinely cares about residents. The cleaning staff is also kind, friendly, and helpful.
Unfortunately, the positive experiences with maintenance and cleaning are not enough to outweigh the mold issues, lack of running water, missing amenities, poor communication, and management concerns. Based on my experience, I would not recommend The Belleview
