The Oaks at Prairie View

Maintenance is super wonderful and normally right on top of stuff, including emergency repairs. Office is nice and friendly but can’t always reach them over the phone. Apartment wasn’t cleaned or fixed up fully before moving in but wasn’t a big deal since it wasn’t much at all. Only problem is it is pricey. Had 1 car break in, super minor but still.

I chose to live here 10min after walking in the office door. Only 4 apartments share a washer and dryer, which is ideal; the heating and air are superb; maintenance is amazing; staff are quality people and seek to understand; residents are kind and helpful; grounds are wonderful; the balcony is oversized (it’s huge); double pained windows; I’m in a 1br and it is very spacious and so clean. I love living here so much, and if I need anything, the staff working here have proven that they want to... help make living here wonderful, and they have exceeded any standard. I currently live here and don’t see a reason I won’t be here for a long time. It’s so close to places that I frequent for groceries, I-29, and other access points. It’s quiet here and they just finished the build of a new pool. There’s a small court and hoop, I love seeing people play there. The playground and dog run at the office are next to a huge clearing and trees. The birds are my favorite in the morning, and some squirrels run across my balcony playing together often. I find it difficult to see anything I don’t like here.

I have lived at the Oaks at Prairie View for almost a year and a half. Nicole, Lexi, and Karol have worked hard to earn and maintain my trust and appreciation. They handle my frequent online purchase deliveries so I don’t have to worry about being around to accept shipments. The apartments are well maintained, quiet, and close to everything. I have become a confirmed Northlander. I have never seen so much as a flea in my apartment, and although we’re very close to I-29, my apartment is quiet and... energy efficient. The staff is phenomenal, always taking their time to listen and be attentive. Everyone on staff is very friendly. The apartment is very cozy and spacious for my boyfriend and I, and our dog. The neighbors are respectful.
I don’t have much to say that’s bad about this place, but one thing that was not the greatest experience was the paint job that was done prior to us moving in. The staff was aware of the terrible paint job and give us some tips on how to get the paint on the floor off. I absolutely love living here. The tenants that I talk to are nice. Everyone is respectful to one another including management. I feel very safe??.
