The Port Apartments

I was utterly in love with everything about this complex: location to shopping centers, highways, close to family, beautiful pond, great price and washer in dryer in unit which is a rarity for this price. I had only wished that I’d known about their brown recluse problem before moving in, or I don’t think I would have moved here. The townhouse is sprayed quite often (one instance twice a month) and typically monthly now. The ones we see are usually dead from the spray but there has been multiple… occasions where I see one crawling on the wall and I can only presume it’s coming from the vents or electrical sockets. The anxiety from worrying about these poisonous spiders may not be worth it to stay here which is unfortunate because if it weren’t for that, I would love to stay here long term until I was ready to find something more permanent. My apartment was beautiful it’s very quiet neighborhood...I had great neighbors. However my apartment had a horrible smell to it and many times I would walk in and could smell cigarette smoke throughout my apartment and I and my neighbors do not smoke! The last 1.5yrs I had drain flies and gnats that never went away and I’m very clean...never have fruit or food sitting out. The port is a nice complex with a nice setting. Right in the middle of oakville. We have a family pool along with a playground and an adult pool for us big kids!! Apartment are being updated and come with washer and dryers.
