Bed Bugs

Would not recommend living here. Let me start with what really did it for me- bed bugs. I had bed bugs from the month I moved in. I didn't see them until about four months later, but was getting bit constantly starting the month I moved in. I thought it was allergies or something else until I saw them one night. I texted the landlord and they brought someone out the next day for a chemical treatment. I was going to just deal with it until my lease was over, but then I found out other people on... my side of the building had them around the same time too, so probably the building has bed bugs, not just mine. I couldn't deal with that for eight more months, so I unfortunately terminated my lease which I still had to pay a ton of money to do even though I was leaving because of bed bugs.
The rent is cheap and the apartments are cute, but you are definitely getting what you pay for. I dealt with the bed bugs, but also hardly ever had hot water, my oven didn't really work, and this place isn't kept up with at all. If you reach out about needing something to be fixed or taken care of, which I did, they’d only fix the things that are absolutely urgent and say they’ll get to the other stuff soon and then never do. You don't actually get free internet; they technically have it and will give it to you, but it never worked, so you end up having to get your own and they won't take the cost of it off your rent. It's kept up with enough for it to function. I wish it would have worked out better, but you live and learn.
