A true community! The management and maintenance changes truly do show. They are all considerate, polite and full of energy. I enjoy living here and having a place to call my home and community. The resident appreciation events and events hosted are great!
Management is always helpful and the guys are a great team as well.

In my experience, The Colony is a great place to live. My mother-in-law lived here for a little over a year, and they went out of their way to help her with anything she needed. They are very considerate people, and the maintenance guys were quick to fix all the problems. The office staff was super friendly, and always made sure she always felt welcomed! I would recommend The Colony to anyone. It is definitely the best of Columbus!

If you like old apartments with bad plumbing, poor management, always absent office staff, frequent gunshots from the area across the street, hearing your neighbors every move and lack luster maintenance then this is the place for you. If not, stay far away.

I live here now and the staff is disrespectful of people personal property and they leave a mess. They come in your apartment without notice, when there is no emergency, leave the lights on and do not leave a note. The new Manager is incompetent. I signed a lease with her but she keep putting notes on my door about signing a lease. I still have not been reimbursed for my property, it has been two months now. But they still expect their rent. If you do not sign a new lease two months before your... old lease ends they will charge you $10 extra each month, if you wait till after the by date. Looks like you should be trying to keep your tenants instead of running them off. lawn and trimming of tree's are not up to the standards that they should be. b They chose not to hire a real Lawn service, they let the district Manager Husband/boyfriend cut it, which seem like a conflict and a violation. I'm a divorced woman and really had no where to go..my ex-husband let our home go into foreclosure to I couldn't be in the home...luckily I have awesome friends who let me live with them until I could save money to get my own place. Heather the complex manager is awesome, she helped me so much; I was going thru my divorce and she made sure my ex couldn't get any info on me, and when my apartment flooded 2x, she offered to let me stay in the model apartment until mine was fixed. She has the best... personality, and is willing to do all she can to help in any way possible. I love the complex, because the people are so nice and caring of all the tenants; they are very attentive to the needs of the tenants; the club house and pool is spectacular, and the up keep on the grounds are always beautiful. The best thing for me is because I have a bad ankle, when I first moved in the only thing that was available was an upstairs apt, but as soon as a down stairs apt became available she immediately gave me first choice and yes I accepted, lol...The complex always have movie night for the tenants, we have a book club, and they do something special for all holidays...I love this complex, it's well maintained, quiet and very convenient to all the shopping stores. I'm very happy being here and hoping to be your next winner for the FREE RENT FOR A YEAR!!
