GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!!

I love living here. The property is well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable!! I have recommended Civic Center West to many friends and family! Can't find a better place in Desoto County!

Stay away!

The owners or property management team does not care about the safety and health of its residents. My entire apartment was infested with mold, so bad that I lost majority of my wardrobe and my bed. The only compensation they offered me was to be released from my lease. I still had to pay the full amount of rent until I found a place. They did not assist me finding a place to live. The staff was very insensitive and unprofessional, I requested a environmentalists and mold cleaning… professionals. The only thing brought to treat the mold was bleach and water, within a week it was back. Don't do it! Stay away! My family is still suffering from the effects of mold from this apartment. Also my apartment is already listed to rent, which means they haven't fixed the problem.

Beware!

Do not rent here! Make these apartments your very last result.
Looks nice from the street. Once inside, it's awful living! Management will smile and laugh with you to get you in,of course they're meeting a quota and telling future residents lies. Gates are always broken, maintenance is slow to respond, apartments are built poorly, no insulation. Pets are free to poop anywhere on the property! Garbage area stays filthy.
Office staff doesn't care because it's rent free or little to nothing for… their rent. The office staff are not professional and do not handle business properly.

Potential tenant

I have tried on numerous occasions to speak with a live person in the office about apartment availability as I am a nurse relocating to Southaven. Saw this advertisement and the reviews and thought I’ll start here. It’s been weeks literally and no one has called me back. Left several messages with no response. Not impressed at this point. Not a good start.

I’ve lived here since 2013. I love this place! I have moved from one bedroom to 2 bedroom, now I’m about to move back to a one bedroom. My most concern is that I really feels SAFE here!! Maintenance and pest control services are always on point. The office staff is always nice and very helpful! I hope that I’ll be over here for at least 7 more years and everything is even better.
