If you value a home that's actually livable, keep looking. Please consider this before signing a lease!
Our family has dealt with problem after problem sincemoving in. The upstairs AC has never worked correctly, leading to months of portable AC units, dehumidifiers, construction, and failed repairs. We were forced out of our home multiple times, including after a sewage backup flooded our kitchen and living room. Later, our kitchen sink detached from the countertop, leaving us without a usable kitchen sink and dishwasher for almost a week.
What made everything worse is the project manager who... repeatedly blamed us for construction failures. He accused our young daughter of flushing underwear down the toilet despite no evidence from the plumber or restoration team. Later he accused me of bathing our children in the kitchen sink and causing its failure. Both accusations were false, inappropriate, and unacceptable.
The HVAC has failed again a few days ago, leaving our home over 84 degrees with four portable AC units running while heat and humidity damages our belongings. Now today, after them “fixing it”, downstairs the vents are blowing 38 degrees out, while the upstairs unbelievably hot and humid.
We reached out directly to ownership requesting a reasonable resolution to move out and have yet to receive a response.
