Don't Delete Like Last Time
Title: Disappointing Experience at Albemarle Landing Apartments

I've lived at Albemarle Landing Apartments since July 2024, and unfortunately, my experience has been subpar. The biggest issue is the paper-thin walls and ceiling, which make it impossible to escape the constant noise from neighboring apartments. Every cough, dishwasher cycle, and washer spin is audible, not to mention the noise from people using the bathroom at night.
Furthermore, the property has a... significant smoking issue, with residents frequently smoking on the steps and leaving behind nasty ashes.
The management has been a revolving door, with four different property managers and two property manager assistants since July 2024. The regional manager seems to wield absolute power and always claims to be right, even when faced with evidence to the contrary. The office staff appears disorganized, having lost three different items of mine since July 2024.
Overall, I would not recommend Albemarle Landing Apartments to anyone seeking a peaceful and well-managed living environment.

Noise concerns, smoking violations, and upkeep of shared areas are issues we actively monitor, and we encourage residents to report them directly to the office so we can address them promptly in accordance with community policies and LIHTC program requirements.
We recognize there have been staffing transitions in recent months, and we understand how this can impact communication and consistency. We also want to clarify that we do not have the ability to remove or delete resident reviews on Apartments.com; all reviews are managed solely by the platform.
We would also like to learn more about the items you mentioned so we can review our logs and improve our internal processes. Please contact the leasing office or our regional management team so we can discuss your concerns in more detail and work toward a resolution.
