Sailpointe at Lake Norman

Beautiful view IF you have a water view, upgrades NO NONE there might be 4 apartments that have been up graded of over 190. We have been waiting over 1 1/2 years to have our cabinets repaired, sat with management last week as they explained the $400 rent increase ask about my cabinets and showed pictures she said oh my I didn't know it was that bad this week they are sending some one to look at they and hopefully fix and a lot of other issues

My girlfriend and I lived here for over a year and I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The quality of the apartments is superficial and do not hold up well. Just over one year there have been countless times we have had to get repairs. The paint peels, windows leak, tons of bugs in the apartment, and multiple times we have had water come through the flooring. Now when we first moved in they gave us the wrong address so all of our utilities were incorrect and we had to pay more due to their… incompetence. Second, it took me going into the office 5x over 3 months to finally get a mail key that actually fit our mailbox. They give you the runaround whenever there are any issues and there are a ton of small charges monthly that they did not disclose when we signed the lease. Lastly, during the midst of the COVID pandemic they charged two healthcare workers an extra 2 weeks of rent because they claimed they never received my first email. Only good experience was Candace was very helpful.

Long story short...there are a lot of better places to live by the lake for this price. I do not recommend it to anyone. Read More

If I could put zero stars i would!!! The draw to Sail Pointe is obvious if you want to be close or on the lake, however, the office never answers the phone, they do not respect or empathize with any of your needs, Manager is never there, and they have made it clear they do not care about anything whatsoever. This place has went through three management changes since I have lived in Cornelius. MOST OF ALL- They are LIARS! Everything that comes out of their mouth is a lie. Not just a little one… but BIG ONES. I have been in the apartment management industry for 12 years and have trained many staff members and I am appalled at how they treat people . I am not sure if it starts from the top or just how this place is ran. I am currently waiting on a Regional to call me and to set up a meeting with the Community Manager right now to go over my concerns. The property is absolutely beautiful, reasonable price, and great amenities. I would recommend living here absolutely. But the people who work in office are horrible, never ever ever answer phones, messages or emails. Only one who EVER is truly helpful up front is Madison.
