My experience while living at Springwood Aptartments has been a very great one. The apts. are very spacious and affordable. The landlord, Mrs. Rouse is a very fair and wonderful lady to rent from. She is very knowledgeable about apartment living. She will also help her tenants in any situations that they may have to the best of her ability. The maintenance is a great staff also. I would recommend this property for individuals or families whom require nothing other than a place to sleep and eat. For the price and square footage it's a deal, however, the apartments are extremely dated. The appliances are very old, may not function properly. No amenities are included. The landscaping service will manicure the property each week and blow dust and leaf debris all over your clean vehicle without any regard. It also takes weeks and sometimes months to get maintenance to repair… or fix any issues with the units. The leasing agent Jim is extremely rude and disrespectful. Majority of the week he is not in the office and difficult to get in contact with. Real estate associates own the property and will do nothing to improve the property but will increase rent annually. Location of the property is convenient between Briar creek and downtown Durham which is a positive.
