The Villas at Pebble Creek

Pebble Creek is located in one of the nicest areas in Hickory. Felt very safe and the outside is very well lighted. All the staff members were all so friendly and helpful. Tina was so helpful and very prompted at returning my calls with any questions or concerns that I had. This was a great experience for being a first time renter. The apartment was very spacious and I felt so at home there. I would recommend Pebble Creek to anyone looking for a great apartment in the Hickory area.

The apts are in a good location in Hickory but that's about it! They do not have adequate maintenance staff to handle anything that needs to be fixed, (there are only two workers and no maintenance staff workers live locally for the apt complex which they also work for the other apts in Statesville, Phillip's Landing), and there are no Hickory offices since the offices are located in Statesville, NC. The office staff does not handle requests in a timely manner or accurately and they seem to… never be in the office or answer the phone. Communication is poor, and at times the office staff is very unfriendly. The apts are extremely out of date, carpets are old, cabinets/countertops are old with laminate, and there are no amenities whatsoever. When you move out they withhold hidden fees such as pet fees which are not disclosed when moving in to the apt. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience! I do not recommend living here! The housing complex is by far one of the nicest in all of Hickory, NC. The apartments have a lot of space and room, luxury style appliances and design. They definitely have more of a “homey” feeling than most places where I have stayed. Elevated ceing, large main bedroom, granite counter tops/ kitchen bar, fireplace, door camera system, walkways - all made for a comfortable couple of years. Great, friendly neighborhood! I lived at the Villas for a long time and I loved it there! This place is beautiful with the pond out back and it's hidden away from traffic, yet 5 minutes from anything you need! Amy, the Manager is wonderful! She has taken care of everything we need in a very short amount of time, and is very gracious and professional. There have been several different maintenance men since we've been here, but they have all been very courteous and have each taken care of our issues in a professional… manner. I would highly recommend The Villas to anyone! Our apartment is absolutely gorgeous with all the extra trim work, etc. We have a brand new central heat and air unit, fireplace, and everything you could ask for in the kitchen area!
