Monroe Apartments

I lived here in a 2 bedroom with my family:fot two years. Management was always responsive to my needs as they arose immediately. With a really nice apartment and I always felt safe and content in my space. The rent was very reasonable compared to other rentals in the area. I would highly recommend this place is a good place to live on Especially if you’re on a budget. The bus picks the children up at the entrance of the apartment complex. Management is run by incompetent people. A convicted Felon is in charge of maintenance. Office worker has a brother that has multiple Felonies, parole violations etc, all for larceny. He resides on location for free. So you can expect your home to be entered, and discover things missing. Buildings are not maintained to ADA standards and this location has fire code violations. In july 2015 a building caught fire and displaced 8 families. Monroe apartments refused to offer assistance. Lighting is... sub-standard. Overall saftey of tenants is ignored. The owner lives in the western half of the united states and is currently avoiding being served multiple civil complaints. Safety record reported by 9-1-1 communications is very concerning. Management will and has violated law by locking tenants out of their home and mailboxes for late payments without civil process required by North Carolina Law.
