Salisbury Village at Castlewood

Cars broken into. Constantly calling upfront for dog poo removal. They tell me they can't fine the person because the dog isn't registered. Meaning not only do they not pick it up they aren't paying the pet fees. Office doesn't care. Stay away!

When I first moved in it was great, everything looked kept up. It was quiet at the appropriate times but now it's loud, dirty and people are leaving trash everywhere. I think it's due to rents going up but the quality is going way down. 3 yrs later not worth the rent increases. Corporate needs to realize we are in a lower economy area. You can always tell when they are coming, trash gets picked up, etc. Appliances are nothing special, you would think they were stainless steel or top of the line... for the prices they charge. Also we're right next to a subsidized apartment bldg that looks a lot better than this as far as the grounds go. Now along with increases they said we were getting an "upgrade" with our cable(which is included in rent), when the truth is we have had channels taken away. They want you to think you are getting a good deal for the rent but Corporate is lying. Things are hard enough as it is without being taken advantage of. There is a quiet time from 10pm to 8am, but that might as well be non-existent. The leasing agents/ managers do not respond to noise complaints, even when numerous messages are left.
Pet owners do not pick up after their pets a lot of the time. They have a clause where they sent off the poop to test which dog left the mess, that way they can charge the correct owner. That clause is also a joke because I’ve seen no improvement on the messes that’s been left. It’s especially bad in the dog run,... because owners just cover the poop with wood chips. Careful watch your step.

Maintenance staff however are great and always respond within 24 hours. This apartment could be great if the leasing managers were more like the maintenance staff. Read More
