Unhealthy environment

The cost and square footage of the apartment itself is nice; however, the building I was in was not cared for by management or tenants. It's not particularly safe; the lock on the main door into the stairwell was broken for months, and it still didn't lock after maintenance replaced it because it was installed incorrectly. I also suspect issues with ventilation or mold because of ongoing symptoms of sick building syndrome and persistent bad smells (including tobacco both inside and at the... entrance). There's also a lot of garbage in the hallways and surrounding grounds. Overall the living environment feels very unhealthy.

Not great.

Property Resource Group is someone I wouldn't rent from again. They either require you to pay rent by using your card or account information, which charges an additional fee, or drive a check to the rental offices. My window leaked when it rained and they never fixed it. My sliding screen door was off the track a bit, they never fixed it. Washing machine hose made wierd noises when it was filling, I managed to fix it myself because they didn't. Not that they don't send people out, just most... stuff doesn't get fixed. Toilet running? 5 visits to fix. Overall a very poor impression and not impressed at all.
