you can find better
From the beginning I faced issues with my downstairs neighbors, constantly calling the police on my child and I for small things. Borderline harassing me over noises that were not intentional but out of my control because of how thin the walls/floors are. Everybody in my building was loud from dogs to doors but I was understanding because of the fact it’s an apartment. The community is CONSTANTLY looking to charge you for anything. I got a lightbulb in my bathroom changed and they charged me $10... for the bulb. I replaced the blinds in my apartment because they were broke, it was the cheaper option $20 vs $160 + $75 for EACH BLIND to be installed. I get my
deposit back and they’ve still charged me for the blinds because they were not the right color. No email, no call trying to see if I’d be willing to replace the ones I already bought they just disposed and still charged me. For the property to not even communicate with you the next steps when I’ve always paid rent on time, didn’t destroy my apartment and left it clean and move-in ready, they never communicated through email or text. They also never told me the color they needed to be in the first place when I asked about my options on replacing them. In the times we are in economically, I feel that just being a decent person would think maybe to talk to someone about options so they aren’t out a third of their deposit which they could’ve needed for anything.
When you move out they will charge you fees for changing OPPD back into their name. The blinds in the bedrooms didn’t match either none of them were the same or “right” color to begin with when I moved in! Even in my bathrooms unremovable tape from renovation I’m assuming that never came off and they never tried to remove. If you move in expect overpriced, cheap apartments with a “pretty” aesthetic. Also the washer and dryers are very old and don’t clean well and they also have horrible water pressure and don’t get me started on the constant pile up of trash at the compactor!!!! Better places in the Bellevue area in my opinion.
