Lofts at Mill West

After living here for over a year, I can honestly say I love my Loft. From the high ceilings to the hardwood floors, granite countertops, super-sized windows, and tons of cabinet and closet space the apartments are BEAUTIFUL. Pet friendly. The Management and staff are always willing to help with the smallest issues. I couldn’t have picked a better, safer, nicer place to call home!!!

We have lived here for a year and although I was hesitant about living in an apartment after owning a home for 30 years I couldn't be happier. The convenience of walking across the bridge for dinner on a cool evening or the 5-10 min drive to shop for anything I might need is really nice. The front desk staff are amazing and have helped with all our questions as we adjusted to city living. Yes, the snow storm shuffle is a drag (first time was a bit confusing but after that no problem and part of… city living!) but they have a garage across the bridge available during storms so you don't have to dig your car out (for free). I personally don't mind walking across vs. digging my car out. I love the original wood floors and the brick arches, huge windows, historical photos in the common areas and high ceilings. It all makes for a gorgeous place to come home to and relax. We occasionally hear people in the hallway or above us but nothing I would consider annoying. You do hear city traffic but we are IN THE CITY! We have a little dog and that has also been a good experience. This is a VERY pet friendly building with designated dog runs which is really nice in the city. The maintenance staff is also very responsive whenever I've asked for something (light bulbs, vent adjustment) but we haven't really had any problems. Loved my 1 years at the Mill, the amenities are great, if the weather is nice you can walk across the Notre Dame Bridge and be on Elm St in 8-10 minutes, and if not an Uber/Lyft is like $7 to get wherever you need to go. Parking was always annoying, if you get home late you will sometimes struggle to find parking (especially if you're on the river side or all the way at the end of the building closest to W Bridge St.) and the fact that you have to move your car like 6 times when it snows is… wildly annoying, but overall I loved my time there and always found the front office staff to be super helpful and welcoming (shoutout to Ms. Wendy.) We have lived here for 2 years and absolutely love it! We rent a modern loft apartment with a view of the city, and the historic mill atmosphere with the exposed brick, original wood floors and gas fireplace is exactly the decor we were looking for. The amenities offered at Lofts at Mills West include a function room with full kitchen, multiple couches and TVs with full cable and a fireplace. It is always accessible and the tenants are accommodating in sharing the large rooms with others. … There is also a game room, gym, theatre room and library. The rooftop patio with multiple tables and chaises is great for summertime entertaining. The parking is very accessible and management does a great job in keeping up with the maintenance of the grounds. The building is pet friendly for small and medium size animals with a specific area designated for dogs. The management staff here are always available, accommodating and extremely friendly.
