Not for night owls or those with allergies/asthma, overall meh
Here's the breakdown from someone who lived here for 8+ years.
POOL & PARKING:
- Pool was closed most of, if not all of 2025 due to what was supposedly a broken filter turning the pool water green.
- Snow policy is VERY strict. Vehicles will get towed if they aren't moved off property by 8am.
- Multiple broken streetlamps for multiple weeks early in 2025 that were ultimately fixed.
- Plenty of parking when all lots are open.
HALLS + NOISE:
- Well maintained with weekly cleaners.
- If there's... construction, then expect lots of plaster chips and debris in the halls.
- Noise created by cleaners, renovations, and lawn care start as early as 8:30am.
- Some buildings consistently smell, mostly unpleasant smells such as weed or cigarettes/cigars, but not always.
- Just walking down the halls might trigger allergies or asthma if you don't rush or hold your breath.
MANAGEMENT:
- The longer you stay, the more you pay. After 5+ years in the same apartment, a 1 bedroom apartment might cost as much as or more than a recently renovated 2 bedroom apartment down the hall.
- Additionally, management might spam you with emails and texts. I've personally experienced more than 20 in a 30 day period within 90 days of my lease renewal date.
- If you request that they reduce the frequency of emails or texts, they will claim to have no control over when or how many emails they send you despite having full control if they just look in the settings.
- Management are often quick to threaten legal action at the first sign of any alleged/obscure lease violation.
- They can be slow to communicate person to person or get certain things that earn them less money (such as shortening a lease term), done.
- They may claim to give you some documents, and that they have a record of such, yet you have never received anything. If you request the document, they might mark it as a 2nd or 3rd copy despite it being the first to actually reach you.
- They're super nice when you're first moving in.
MAINTENANCE:
- Recently hired new staff who follow up and do what they say they will do in a timely manner, even during the holidays.
- The more extreme the issue, the less they seem able to do about it unless you move out.
GROUNDS:
- Can't speak to playground or dog park.
- Grass and trees is well kept, and look nice until you go behind the buildings where it's a bit wilder.
- A nice short hiking trail through some woods behind a building.
- Newly built central outdoor mailbox is rather inconvenient.
