Love my apartment itself. Modern and clean. Amazing closet/storage space. Town feels very safe. However I don’t understand why rent is increased every year by $50 , especially given that there are absolutely no amenities in my building. It’s actually ridiculous how much rent is. I don’t understand how they expect us to keep up with it if this is an annual thing. My coworker lived in the very same apartment right before I moved in and her starting rent is almost $500 less than what I’m paying now... . I will definitely be looking into other apartments towards the end of my contract as much as I hate it but I will not be able to keep up with rent if it keeps increasing at that rate.

Apartment is so expensive near train you can’t sleep the maintenance and repairs are so slow it takes months/years before they fix it. they charge fast and increase is so high the inquiry girl dianne in the office is so rude and not answering calls and she calls back with annoying/rude and mad voice,when we move in they didnt fix all cabinets and closet the just paint it,carpet is old the just clean it aircon is old and not even work and when you tell them they talk to you that is all your fault... they dont give the deposit back,Dont waste your money here.

Since this review is anonymous and we can’t look up your information, we can’t specifically address the issues in your review.
We want to apologize for the noise problems you experienced during your time with us. The freight train track that... runs through Bergenfield is near Woodland Hills Manor and the train can be heard from the property when it passes.
As for repairs in the apartment, we now provide live maintenance support to our residents through the Maintenance Contact Center, a service which accepts repair requests from residents 24/7. The Maintenance Contact Center works to resolve maintenance issues promptly, and keep tenants informed if a delay occurs.
We are also sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our staff. If you wouldn't mind sending an email to Info@RidgetopCorp.com, I would love to talk about the situation and what we can do to manage such situations more effectively in the future.

Don't Do It
Train is insanely loud and runs all night(which the landlord didn't disclose)
Landlord not respectful of keeping things quiet (does.most of the building maintenance during the time tenants are home which leads to a lot if noise in your apartment)
Does not notify tenants of construction in the building (Really loud renovation going on upstairs and was awoken by the noise at 8am on a Saturday)
Repeatedly complained about the dishwasher not functioning properly and keep being told it is just the... soap (which is not true at all)
The apartments arw decent but the lack of communication and willingness to take into concern tenants is troubling.
