I have lived at Cherrywood Apartments for over seven years, and until recently, it was a wonderful and safe community. Unfortunately, in the past six months, there has been a disturbing increase in car break-ins and vandalism. Several vehicles have had their windows smashed with what appears to be a bat or similar weapon.

Despite multiple reports to the office, there has been no clear action plan to address these ongoing issues. Residents have suggested reasonable safety measures—such as hiring... a security guard to patrol at night, installing cameras to monitor and record suspicious activity, and adding brighter lighting to deter crime—but none of these steps have been implemented.

It is heartbreaking to see a once-great community decline due to a lack of response and accountability. Safety should be a top priority, and until management takes meaningful action, residents will continue to feel vulnerable and unprotected. Read More

The apartment itself is nice, but there’s often a smell in the building that seems like smoke or another substance. It tends to seep into my unit, which is frustrating. I’d love to see better ventilation or enforcement of community policies.

I absolutely love this complex. The staff is friendly, maintenance takes care of issues in a timely manner, my apartment is spacious and has plenty of light, and the neighbors are friendly. There is a pool, a gym, and bikes that can be taken to ride around on. There is also a community garden. I couldn't be happier.

Let's start with cold concrete cell. They claim windows are double paned. Lies. They don't do anything about illegally parked cars. The police can't write tickets unless Kormen request it. Trash dumpters are always over flowing. They don't fix things, they patch stuff. God forbide you need a new appliance, it comes from another unit. Most units are from the 1970's.

I have been in this apartment complex since 2017 I have had My car broken into the floor is coming up I have a wasp nest in my window which I am allergic to I keep telling them about all of my maintenance issues and they refuse to fix it it’s not worth the headache of living here nobody gives a crap and it is a free-for-all this place sucks !!! Management is a joke i’ve gone down to the office several times to complain and it’s like I’m talking to myself because nothing gets accomplished I’m... still dealing with the same issues months later they tell you that they’re going to fix it and then they never do so then you have to go back down there and complain I don’t know how this place is still open I don’t know how this management is still here don’t move here save yourself the peace of mind and do not move here the apartments are run into the ground.
