Not Worth it
The walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbor humming in his apartment through my bedroom wall. My upstairs neighbor wakes me just by walking around in his apartment because the building was built so poorly. The traffic on Grand Ave is very loud because all of the fire trucks and ambulances blare their horns at our street corner. 20 Grand is a "home depot special." There are ongoing flooding issues throughout the building, and fire alarms due to a malfunctioning fire alarm that they haven't... been able to fix in over a year and a half. It goes off at night, on holidays and early on the weekends. The pool is frequently closed because it isn't maintained properly, and the doorman is only here from 8-4. The realtor lied about many points in her presentation and the management company is unprofessional and largely incompetent. Not worth the pricey rent.
