Location is five star price per month is a bit steep for the neighborhood Just because the law allows, a certain percentage of rental increases per year. doesn’t mean that Management has to actually activate the increase every year… Also the little petty things like the additional fees for the workout room, and uncovered parking spaces feels like a slap in the face, especially for loyal tenants who have been here for more than five or more years… with so many other rental options in the city of... Hackensack you would think that loyalty and tenure would be taken into consideration when it comes to rental increases, or to just give the residents a gift of status quo or no rental increase for a couple of years before you start increasing again

Review on Atrium so far I’ve had a generally good experience living here.
Pros:
Management has not raised the rent, which I’m genuinely grateful for. That kind of stability goes a long way. Anthony, the superintendent, is fantastic - very responsive, helpful, and on top of things when issues come up. The location is also a big plus and makes daily life really convenient.
Cons:
The parking lot exit is extremely tight and the turn you have to make leaving the lot has that brick wall on the... corner - I actually hit my car on it recently and now have over $1,000 in damage. It would really help if management added padding or some kind of protection on that wall. Guest parking is also very limited, which makes it tough when friends or family visit. There was talk about adding a sauna in the empty room downstairs, but that still has not happened. The gym is also below average - it could really use heavier dumbbells, an EZ curl bar, and some upgraded equipment overall.
Overall, I’m satisfied living here, especially because of the stable rent and great superintendent, but there are a few practical improvements that would make a big difference.

Maintenance There should be more than one person responding to maintenance calls. There are too many apartments for one person to maintain. Therefore, the response time is incredibly slow.

Lived there for 5 years. The location is great. However, rent increase per year was high esp when new management took over. Plumbing issues frequently occurred making them have to cutoff the water for a day at time but multiple times. Water leaks also occurred which caused damage to the apartment from the upper floor and the piping within the ceiling. Interestingly, they deducted money from the security deposit to fix what was damaged (due to water leaking from the ceiling.....!). Avoid or make... sure to document everything as soon as it happens.
