The Shipyard

We have lived at the Vanguard Apartments at The Shipyard for three years now and can’t imagine living in Hoboken anywhere else. We are only leaving because we have decided to be adventurous and move to Portugal. Our son has been living with us and will be taking over the lease as he loves it to. Aside from the spacious and updated loft apartment, the incredible amenities (multiple pools, health clubs, social rooms), nice neighbors, and the “can’t beat it” location (2 mins to ferry, bus stop,... many restaurants, bars), the staff here (management/office/maintenance/doorman/woman/person) have all been incredibly professional, responsive and kind. Going to miss Trace, Tiffany, Sasha, Nathan, Gabriel, Peter, etc. Gonna miss them. Absolutely loved living here. Read More

My husband and I currently live in Hoboken, NJ and are expecting our first child in January 2016. We moved out of Manhattan last year in hopes of gaining more space for a more affordable price- which we did! We live in a 1200 sqft 2 bedroom/2 bathroom corner unit with tons of light that floods in every morning- you can't help but wake up with a smile! Our home is a great size, and we have a beautiful view of the westside Manhattan skyline! Every night we look out our window at the... Empire State Building and guess what the colors represent as they change every day. We are part of a community that shares 2 pools and a gym. Our neighbors are very friendly (much more than in Manhattan), and you can definitely knock on their door for some sugar! We love love love living in our building and would highly recommend as a great place to live if you want to be close to Manhattan! Read More
