Sylvan Woods Howell

We recently moved to Sylvan Woods and could not be happier or more proud to call this beautiful place our new home.

Diane was our primary contact throughout the process. She initially showed us the apartment and then helped us finalize our lease. She made the entire transition so easy and welcoming, personally checking in with us along the way to ensure that we were comfortable and that all of our needs were being met. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care truly stood out and made such... a positive impression on us.

The property itself is exceptional. The buildings are extremely clean and well maintained, and the clubhouse is gorgeous, with beautiful, high-end amenities. The fitness center is immaculate and includes modern equipment, while the pool and surrounding outdoor lounge areas are equally impressive. We especially love the outdoor space for relaxing and BBQ!

Sylvan Woods also incorporates a great deal of modern technology, including convenient entry and security features. Having EV charging stations available on-site is another tremendous benefit and demonstrates how thoughtfully the property has been designed.

The property management team provides outstanding customer service. When we had a minor request shortly after moving in, a member of the maintenance team responded promptly. He was kind, professional, thorough, and incredibly accommodating, even though our request was simply based on personal preference. That level of responsiveness and attention to detail meant so much to us.

Everyone we have met in our building has been friendly and helpful. Our neighbors have even shared recommendations for some of the best restaurants and places to visit in the area, which has made settling into Howell even more enjoyable.

Another feature that pleasantly surprised us is how quiet the complex is. Although it is conveniently located along Route 9, the buildings are positioned so well that we do not hear the traffic at all. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to major highways, restaurants, the Freehold Raceway Mall, Target, big-box stores, and a large shopping center just a few minutes away.

We have never felt so happy in a new place. We are incredibly grateful to Diane and the management team for making our move seamless, comfortable, and exciting. My lease is coming to an end at the end of July, and I have spent time looking at other apartment options. After visiting and comparing several places, I found that many are much more expensive, have additional fees, and do not offer the same pleasant atmosphere.

After giving it a lot of thought, I believe that staying at Sylvan Woods Apartments is the best decision for me at this time. I truly enjoy living here. The property is always clean and well-maintained, and the community is friendly... and welcoming. Whenever you walk outside, there is always someone saying hello, which makes it feel like home.

I also live with and care for my elderly mother, and it is very difficult to find housing that is both comfortable and suitable for her needs. Considering the challenges of finding another place and the positive experience we have had here, I would like to extend my lease and remain at Sylvan Woods. Diane is the most welcoming manager I have ever met. I do not say this lightly. I am in a position myself where one needs to present a school. I know what is important. She makes a point of knowing your name and understanding your needs. She is not overbearing. Diane presents the options and then gives you the time to reflect and pick the best apartment for your needs. You are not rushed but you learn all the ins and outs of the complex. I moved in October 2025. The staff has always been polite and helpful. One of my favorite things they do is a monthly resident event. Delicious food is setved along with the choosen activity for the month. For March we had linedancing instructions. The residents that participated had fun as well as those that just wanted to watch the dancing. Well after everyone finished eating many stayed to continue enjoying the entertainment.
