Jasmin Terrace at 313 Pine Street

I had an excellent experience living at the Jasmin Terrace. The place was exactly as described, clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect, close to all the necessary amenities and easy to get around when the light rail is just a few blocks away. The landlord was very responsive and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process seamless. The maintenance of the property was truly outstanding, everything was in great working order and it was clear that a lot of attention was paid to... ensuring that the guests had a pleasant experience (thanks Chris, you rock!). 1) Very noisy due to constant construction happening right outside the balcony doors. You can hear everything happening in units above and adjacent.

2) Dirty! Garbage is left to pile up in the garbage rooms on each floor for weeks at a time.

3) Management is non-existent. Owner and manager never respond to maintenance requests. You're left to fend for yourself.

4) Unsafe. There are non-tenants regularly coming and going to use the gym and roof facilities.

While the building itself is nice and in a prime location, the owner and management is absent. The building super is responsive, but always requires owner approval for major issues, like leaking windows and broken appliances. These issues continue forever without a solution since the owner is out of touch. i expect it to only get worse as the building ages and lacks maintenance.
