Issues over the past few months.

When I first moved here, I was genuinely happy with the apartment and had no problem recommending it. Unfortunately, my experience has changed.
Since then, we’ve dealt with multiple maintenance issues, including 4 A/C leaks, one of which lead to my tv breaking, a microwave replacement, roach sightings inside the apartment, building elevator being down multiple times for extended periods, stairwell trim missing or falling off, and the exterior common area key fob still down to this day. While I… understand maintenance issues do occur, for a property marketed and priced as a luxury community, these issues are extremely disappointing. We have reached out to the leasing agents with our concerns with hopes for compensation on the broken television at the very least. The agents have been helpful in directing our concerns to the building manager but it has been over 3 weeks with no response. I’m updating my review because prospective residents deserve to know that my experience started out very positively but has declined over time. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to resolve them permanently.

Extremely poor management

The staff is incompetent and extremely slow to respond to problems. They inappropriately took money out of my account and it has been a nightmare trying to get them to correct the problem. I have had to make dozens of phone calls, send numerous emails, and have left many voicemails.

Just renewed my lease!

My husband and I have lived at Vermella East now in a 1 bedroom for 1.5 years now and just renewed for 1 more year.

We chose Vermella East because of the: size of the apartment, gas stove, great closet size, good storage, split unit A/Cs, amenities, location and shuttle to the Harrison Path.

I commute into the city via the PATH train 4 days a week and the shuttle is a huge plus.

The quality of the apartment and amenity spaces, the shared spaces and the gym, as well as the outdoor spaces… when the weather is nice, are fantastic.

The management is very friendly and professional. They're super responsive, and very helpful. I also have found the maintenance staff to be amazing and very responsive as well.

I'd highly recommend.

Luxury at its finest

I’m new to the NJ area for work and I must say it’s a Convenient location, spacious layouts, and great amenities. I’ve toured many luxury communities in the area and this is by far the best I’ve seen as the property is well maintained. This property is on the top of my list.
