It's a walk-up
While this building claims to have only one fully functioning elevator, it does not. Not only does it rarely ever work but people have also gotten stuck inside of it (fire fighters having to rescue them). It's been like this for years and the building refuses to fully replace the elevator (they instead do minor repairs that will fix it for a few weeks until someone else gets stuck).
