The Parker 118

If you currently live at The Parker 106/118 or are thinking about making the move, beware. There is so much we can write, but this review will focus on the most egregious issue that we had after spending 4 years at The Parker. We paid our July rent through 7/31 and physically moved out on 7/22, leaving a few belongings behind as we knew we had the apartment through the end of the month. We returned back to our apartment a few days later to gather the rest of our belongings and when we entered,… everything was gone. I texted one of the property managers immediately as we were infuriated and needed to understand where our stuff went. It took hours to finally be informed that their cleaning guy entered our apartment “by mistake” thinking he was turning our apartment and that they put our belongings in storage. This is a violation of our privacy as well as a violation of their own lease terms as they cannot enter our apartment without permission while it under our possession, and they did. Not only did they enter without asking permission, they REMOVED our belongings and placed them elsewhere. As if this wasn’t bad enough, when I complained, it was brushed off as if it was no big deal repeating that it was a mistake. How is this not a big deal? Would you want someone entering an apartment that is in your name and taking your stuff? I think not. Reconsider moving here and if you already live here, be sure to take inventory of your stuff as you never know if it will be removed from your apartment while you are not home without your permission.
